Thanksgiving Madness

Once again, we have reached Thanksgiving!

Co-ordinating big family feasts like this take some work and planning, particularly when food allergies and sensitivities are thrown into the mix. I'm just thankful that I don't have to make everything myself! Just most of the things; I have a rule that I won't make anything that I can't eat.

Dinner:

Ham, because my sister won a ham at her work!

Mashed potatoes; I use bacon fat and coconut milk

Roast carrots

Biscuit stuffing recipe here

Roasted butternut squash and red onions with tahini sauce from New York Times

Pretzel salad with jello and blueberries (unfortunately full of dairy, but I think I will have to post the recipe soon)

Cranberry sauce recipe here

Maybe someone will bring a regular salad! :D

Dessert:

Apple cranberry pie (GF DF EF)

Pumpkin chiffon pie (GF DF EF) recipe here

Pecan pie (just GF)

Pumpkin pie (just GF)

Maybe pecan pie bars. Maybe. (GF DF EF) from Allergy Free Alaska
